Analysis of Public Transportation Services at Wosi Terminal

Abstrak

Abstrack Public transportation plays an important role in supporting community mobility and economic growth in a region. One of the important land transportation nodes in Manokwari Regency is the Wosi Terminal, which serves various rural public transportation routes. This study aims to analyze the condition of public transportation services at the Wosi Terminal based on Minimum Service Standards (SPM), assess the level of fulfillment of each SPM indicator, and describe the results of service assessments on each route. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with field observation techniques using checklist instruments based on the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 98 of 2013 and Number 29 of 2015. The research objects include four rural transportation routes, namely Route D2 (Wosi Terminal–Mupi–Warkapi–Wasabui), F1 (Wosi Terminal–Warmare–SP III), F2 (Wosi Terminal–SP IV–Masni), and H (Wosi Terminal–SP VIII–Sidey). Data analysis was carried out using the percentage method based on the number of fulfilled indicators to the total research indicators. The results showed that the SPM compliance rate for route D2 was 67.74%, route F1 was 80.64%, route F2 was 74.19%, and route H was 74.19%. Route F1 had the highest compliance rate compared to other routes. In general, public transportation services at Wosi Terminal have met most SPM indicators, but several aspects still need improvement, particularly safety, security, and vehicle comfort.
