Peer Review Process
In the manuscript review process, JISTECH: Journal of Information Science and Technology involves authors, editors, section editors, and reviewers. The journal applies a Double-Blind Review system to ensure the confidentiality of both authors and reviewers throughout the evaluation process.
All submitted manuscripts are initially screened by the editor. Manuscripts that align with the journal's focus and scope and comply with the author guidelines will be forwarded to reviewers for evaluation. The review process assesses the scientific quality, originality, methodology, and contribution of the manuscript to the advancement of science and technology. Manuscripts that do not meet the initial requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected.
Each manuscript is reviewed by at least one reviewer within approximately 1–2 weeks, based on the evaluation criteria established in the journal’s reviewer assessment form.
The average time from manuscript submission to publication is approximately 12 weeks, depending on the review process, revisions, and editorial decisions.
